Boston design studio tours

September 15, 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

See how some of Boston’s finest design firms operate by taking part in the AIGA Boston Design Studio Tours. At each studio, you’ll hear from the principal about the studio, check out their work and talk to employees over refreshments.

Buses for tours will depart from the Hynes Convention Center as follows:
Back Bay morning tour: 8:30 a.m.
Fort Point Channel morning tour: 8:30 am.
Back Bay afternoon tour: 1:00 p.m.
Fort Point Channel afternoon tour: 1:00 p.m.

Tickets: $125 each; only 80 available for each tour. Tickets for this event are non-refundable.

Seltzer Design
Seltzer Design was founded in 1984 and creates marketing communication materials–including brand strategy for print and web–for companies such as
Payton Construction, Partners HealthCare, New England Legal Foundation and Spaceworks Furniture.

Hill Holliday
Hill Holiday was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Boston with offices in New York, South Carolina, Miami, San Francisco, and Austin. With over 600 employees, they specialize in advertising media, Hispanic, health, relationship marketing, interactive design and public relations for companies such as CVS, Dunkin Donuts, Dell, Verizon, American Red Cross, Budweiser and John Hancock
Arnold Advertising
Arnold Worldwide Partners operates a global advertising agency network with offices in about 10 countries. With over 1,800 employees and 6 offices in the United States, the full-service agency offers creative ad development, campaign planning and brand management for companies such as Hasbro, Titleist, Royal Caribbean and Volkswagen.

Korn Design
Korn Design is a multi-dimensional design studio that specializes in collateral, environmental and web design, marketing, identity and packaging and for such companies as Axsum Technologies, Briggham and Women’s Hospital,, The Charles Hotel, Hotel commonwealth, Hilton Hotels and MIT.

Stoltze Design
Founded in 1984 by Clifford Stoltze, Stoltze Design is a nationally recognized, multidisciplinary design studio known for its innovative approach to identity, print, packaging and interactive projects. Stoltze Design's diverse client base (including Massachusetts College of Art, Cakewalk music software, EMI/Capital Records, MIT, Harvard Business School and Fidelity Investments) encourages the firm to continuously push the boundaries of graphic design.

Kor Group
kor Group was founded in 1993 and is a visual design and communications firm specializing in branding, naming, print design, advertising, direct mail, web design, environmental graphics and packaging for such companies as Boston Scientific, Berklee College of Music, Boston College, Northeastern University, Praxair, State Street and Harvard University.

Polese Clancy
Polese Clancy has over 20 years experience serving the integrated marketing needs of leading organizations in the New England area, including non-profits and B2B companies such as Analog Devices, Bank Boston, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Liberty Mutual, Interleaf, Wellesley College and BT Conferencing.

Catapult Thinking
Catapult Thinking is a design group that develops brand strategies, expresses brand attitudes and guides user experiences through printed and interactive communications across environments and via product and service design for such companies as IRobot, Shire Inc., Salomon Sports and Nokia.
